Whittlesea Golf Club, Victoria

My name is Carl Padget, possibly best known as the Superintendent of Whittlesea Golf Club, Victoria, which was decimated by salinity in the ‘El Nino’ summer of 1997. In fact, the salinity rates that were realised in our Greens, Tees and other areas set a new precedent in the Turf Industry. Several Greens and Tees were over 8,000 Total Dissolved Solids. (People with experience of salinity will recognise this as a very high figure). The Golf Course and its future seemed doomed, such was the severity of the salinity damage.

During 18 months of tribulation and investigation, needing a remedial cure or programme, I searched all over Australia and overseas. It was quite an eye-opener that Turf and Water people and bodies knew what caused salinity, its effects and subsequent damage, but alas ‘no-one’ had any remedial course of action or solution to recommend that actually worked, that would break the salinity shackle.

Virtually at the end of this frustrating and exhaustive search for an answer, and it was only then by chance, on seeking advice on another matter, that I was advised to contact Vicmill Natural Fertilizers P/L at Invergordon, Vic.

After contacting Brian Nugent, the founder of Vicmill Natural Fertilizers P/L and his subsequent visit to my Golf Course, did I realise to my delight that I had at last found someone in Australia that truly understood these facets of salinity.

Not only did he convey this to me, but he was able to explain the complexities involved in such a manner that I believe the rest of Australia needs to know what this Company has to offer, in particular, the Turf Industry with its annual reduction in water quality.

My salinity problem was on-going, with lingering high salinity rates in all areas of my Course. I faced another summer with only very poor quality irrigation water. It was not an optimistic scenario.

Within 9-10 weeks of embarking on a programme using Vicmill Natural Fertilizers products I have not only reduced my salinity rates by 40-55% but my Course has turned around. My Turf areas are draining again. ‘Black-Layer’ and toxicity has dissipated and new fibrous roots are emerging. The ‘turn-around’ was so dramatic that not only my staff and I were in ‘awe’ but so were our entire Membership and Visitors.

I have been in this Trade for some 25 years and in all that time I have never been so impressed and refreshed as I am with this man’s technology and products. These claims on salinity reduction have been documented and vindicated by Soil Analysis Tests and photographic evidence.

I believe nobody in the Turf Industry deserves to go through the stress and frustration that I went through for nearly two years.

Vicmill’s technology needs no selling. Once you trial and use it – it sells itself.

“As simple as that!”

Don & Donna McColl of Classic Gardens

Together we design, create and maintain gardens. We have become garden doctors and “trouble shooters” inadvertently in responding to imbalances we see in gardens that are crying out for correction.

Mostly we see starved plants. We know that in applying Vicmill’s Complete Organic Fertilizer either by broadcasting or drilling in the case of the trees and shrubs in a bad state of health, we will within two weeks time begin to see new growth stimulated and yellow or sickly leaves turn green and dormant buds pop out.

In planting we have found it can be well mixed into the ground before placing the plant into the hole. We always like to use Fiskel to stop transplant shock and promote root growth. In about eight week’s time, in new gardens especially we begin to see an outstanding healthy, vibrant beautiful green garden with flowering plants bursting forth in bloom or bud.

We get outstanding results from Roses with COF. The colours are vibrant and deeper, the leaves shinny and deep green. All fruiting and ornamental trees respond and even Aloe Vera has thicker, juicer, greener leaves. Natives and Orchids love it. Geraniums, Agapanthus, any flowering has three times the bloom. We are always bowled over by the results. All vegetables grown with COF are sweeter.

With skillful pruning as to adjunct and using powers of observation, common sense and plant husbandry methods we’ve devised over the years, we know that if there is any life left in old, neglected trees and shrubs, we can with these truly unique and remarkable fertilizers be confident of tremendous regeneration. Our clients are always impressed with the results.

Our gardening methods are strictly organic and we were so happy to discover COF about 12years ago because prior to that we were lugging around many bags of various soil amendments and custom mixing our own.

COF and Fiskel are so easy to use and we recommend it with complete confidence.

Don McCrae - Mornington Peninsula

I recently purchased COF for the first time and though not the best time of the year, I am still getting good results. In particular, I think that COF has great potential for people who are container gardening, hanging baskets, pot plants and bonsai etc. For me, it was excellent for the Hanging baskets.

An old organic guru told me years ago that the test of a good organic fertilizer was---The deciduous trees hold their leaves longer and summer flowers last much longer. Well I am pleased to say that I have had both.

I have shared my order with family and friends and they too have told me of good results. So, Thankyou!

Phillip Hall - Halls Veterinary Practice - Tasmania

This is to state that I have had personal experience of Vicmill Super 6 Fertilizer. I have personally used it on my property where pasture has been reinvigorated and the livestock grazing in those pastures have improved in health, in comparison to previous years when conventional superphosphate fertilizer was applied.

I have heard the same reports from my vet practice clients who are witnessing better breeding performance and a general improvement in bodily health.

I can confidently recommend this product.
